Computers are integral tools for communication and information. They need to be accessed quickly and efficiently. However, they require space and security whether or not they are in use. Ideally we would access a computer, utilise the technology and then store it away. Because the computer provides so many benefits, we acquiesce to its continual presence in spite of concerns regarding space and its vulnerability to accidental damage, tampering or even theft.

Access - The ANSWΣR™ and The RΣASON™
Within seconds, a user can flip open the monitor cover, re-position the flat screen monitor from its securely stored (and out of sight) location, lift out the keyboard and mouse and switch on the computer. A simple flip back of the monitor cover restores the desk to a flat and continuous surface, allowing the user to proceed with the IT functionality unencumbered by a fixed monitor, bulky tower or obstructed desk surface.

Optional optical drives can be accessible from the front of the desk and USB ports and audio sockets are available on the front control panel or alternatively, they can be placed on the monitor arm mechanism.

Storage - The ANSWΣR™ and The RΣASON™
At the conclusion of an IT session, the monitor can be lowered back into its compartment, the keyboard and mouse stored and the compartment closed, locking away the IT equipment until the next authorized access.

Security - All Models
The loss of a computer is a loss both in financial terms and in terms of the loss of opportunity.and productivity. All aspects of physical security have been addressed in all of the Adeptias desk models. The integrated computer is independently locked within a separate compartment in the desk, accessible only by the IT staff. This avoids accidental damage or tampering with PC connections. The monitors are mounted to the pivoting arms using tamper-resistant fasteners. In The ANSWΣR™, The ANSWΣR™ TΣ and The RΣASON™, the monitor, keyboard and mouse all are stored within a separate lockable compartment when IT is not in use. The security is extended as no IT components are visible.

Remote Access - All Models
The separate monitor compartment can be physically locked or, using the optional wireless remote access system, access to any desk can be controlled by any authorized member of staff using any fob.
