Q: What are the unique features of the Adeptias desk? A:
The CONCΣPT™ is the entry level IT desk with the computer housed within a separate
lockable compartment located in the centre section of the desktop and a pivoting monitor
mounted on the top of the desk. When IT functionality is not required, the monitor
can be swung to the side of the desk and the keyboard and mouse stored in the compartment
located on the underside of the desktop. It is available as a single or double desk.
There is a continuous desktop without joles or permanent obstructions whether or not
IT is in use. The ANSWΣR™ is the flagship model in the Adeptias range. As with
The CONCΣPT™, the computer is housed in a separate lockable compartment located
in the centre section of the desktop. The monitor is mounted on a retractable, pivoting
mounting that can be lowered into the desk frame into a separate lockable compartment
that also can store the keyboard and mouse. Therefore, in the stowed position, there
is no IT equipment visible. It is available as a single or double desk. There is a
clear desktop at all times whether or not IT is in use. The ANSWΣR™ TΣ (Teacher’s
Edition) is similar to a double ANSWΣR™ desk but rather than having a second
computer and monitor, the right side compartment is used to house a digital projector
and writing pad. Thus The ANSWΣR™ TΣ is a complete presentation unit which
only needs a flat white surface to project onto, thereby eliminating the need for
an electronic whiteboard. The RΣASON™ is a cantilever style, convertible IT desk
with the computer housed in the rear section of the desk frame. The TFT monitor is
also mounted on a pivoting, retractable arm that lowers into a separate compartment
which in The RΣASON™ is located at the rear of the desk frame. As a cantilever
design desk,The RΣASON™ desks can be configured in a back-to-back to format to
from a conference table that has clear legroom around the outer area of the table.
It also is available as a single or double desk.
Q: Why are the Adeptias desks unique? A:
Adeptias has combined both state-of-the-art technology and proprietary patent-pending
designs to produce the first truly convertible desk that provides a clear desktop
in both the IT and non-IT modes. All of the IT equipment is stored in secure enclosures
and in most models is totally out-of-sight when not in use. This adaptability is accomplished
without sacrificing IT functionality.
Q: Can you attach together several ANSWΣR™ or
RΣASON™ desks to form special room configurations?
A:
Yes, all of the desk models can be attached together in a number of different arrangements
to form rows, tables or “U” shape configurations. Please see Layouts for some of the

to meet your specific room dimensions and model(s) of Adeptias desks to meet your
